According to Town of Barnstable Ordinance Chapter 17, Sections 1 & 2:

“Every alarm user shall submit to the Chief of Police their name, address, telephone number, date of birth, SS#, mailing address and at least two (2) other persons who are authorized to respond to an emergency signal transmitted by an alarm system within 25 minutes, and who can open the premises in which the alarm system is located"

False Alarm

This regulation further stipulates that

“An alarm user shall have a Licensed Alarm company inspect the alarm system after three (3) false alarms in a registration period. For the fourth (4) thru sixth (6) false alarm, a $100 fine shall be assessed within the registration period"
